1.- In order to resize your images you need a special software. If you do not have any, I recommend Irfanview (you can download it here). Download and install the software. Open the program and select the picture to resize. You will see something similar to:

5.- We are almost there. Click on "Image" again. And "Sharpen"
6.- Now "File" => "Save as". 7.- Click on the "File Type" drop down menu, select "JPG - JPEG Files". Select a folder in your local disk, and save your file. If everything went well, you should have an image less than 100 Kb big. Now your files are ready to be uploaded. Note that there are many other programs to resize your pictures. All work similarly.
